For the first time, The Norwegian Venture Capital & Private
Equity Association (NVCA) is introducing a yearbook. We hope
it will inform and enlighten the reader. Our ambition is to
reach out to a large and diverse group of readers, covering
investors at home and abroad, the public domain, existing and
potential portfolio companies, government representatives,
the press, the academic community and many others.
The yearbook presents developments in the industry
during 2007. But we do not stop there. Our ambition is also
to highlight the significant gains and opportunities of venture
capital and private equity investments in Norway. The future
investment prospects are vast and the contribution to
innovation and economic growth will expand along with
the number and size of investment funds.
